After several years of commitment to the Maryland Chapter of Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society (HIMSS), Kyle Swarts has been named as a new Board of Director. As a veteran leader in the healthcare IT industry, Kyle will serve as the Outreach Committee Chair and Marketing & Communications Committee Co-Chair.  Within his first few months in the Outreach Chair position, he launched and will continue to manage the Maryland HIMSS Charity Program, supporting organizations in the region that leverage technology to support the health and well-being of the communities they serve. During his tenure, he will also assist with marketing the organization, its members and events while gaining traction with sponsoring organizations.
