RoundTable’s Epic Perm Placement Division Partners with West Coast Academic Medical Center to Hire Seasoned Certified Epic Resolute Cycle Analyst

RoundTable Strategic Solutions recently partnered with a large academic health system to recruit and retain two experienced Certified Epic Revenue Cycle experts to assist the organization with maximizing the features and capabilities of the resolute application. The new hires will play vital roles serving as a Resolute Lead and Sr Resolute Analysts and are expected to make an immediate impact to the Epic project team while serving as a liaison with Revenue Cycle Operations.  Additionally, they will aid in the upcoming system-wide 2018 Epic upgrade and implementation, along with anchoring the Revenue Cycle team for years to come.

RoundTable’s Epic Revenue Cycle Support Team Deployed at Leading West Coast IDN for Optimization Effort

A team of Epic Revenue Cycle subject matter experts kicked off a 6-month engagement earlier this month with a laser-focus on optimization opportunities that will increase the efficiency of staff and financial performance. Over the course of the engagement, the RoundTable project team will:

  1. Assist organizational leadership with Epic ServiceNOW ticket prioritization and resolution
  2. Evaluate current state Epic system set-up and recommend optimization initiatives
  3. Implement Epic workque structure re-design and system build modifications

RoundTable’s Management Consulting Practice Engaged to Assist Large IDN with Epic Conversion

A large Integrated Delivery Network has partnered with RoundTable to assist the organization with facilitating a comprehensive assessment of its current state revenue cycle management processes while determining gaps in people and processes that require organizational attention and alignment of future state design prior to the Epic go-live. “The appropriate sequencing of events is critical during a large system conversion which is why clients see the value in partnering with an experienced firm,” says Kyle Swarts, Senior Vice President & Partner.

Consultant Shout Out – Lorna Dunbar, Certified EPIC HIM Project Manager/Builder

Lorna Dunbar, a Certified Epic HIM Project Manager/Builder,  describes herself as “not your average consultant,” and we couldn’t agree more!  Lorna is the quintessential HIT consultant, marrying an in-depth knowledge of operations and Epic and 3rd-party application functionality related to all things Health Information Management (HIM), a professional “grace under pressure” delivery, fine-tuned analytic approach to solve complex problems, and a fantastic sense of humor.  Her HIM expertise extends through Clinical Applications and Revenue Cycle, and Lorna effectively understands and communicates the downstream impacts of proposed solutions to identify the one best-suited to address the challenge.

In her almost 4 years of engagement with RoundTable, Lorna has served multiple roles, including Epic HIM Project Manager, Lead Build/Integration Consultant, and Interim IT Operations Leader.  Throughout her tenure in these roles, Lorna has successfully executed countless jobs on behalf of the client, repeatedly demonstrating patience, flexibility, collaboration, and a “no job too big or too small” mentality.  She mentors client IT and operations staff to equip them with the tools to be successful in their roles, and lends her SME perspective to our RoundTable internal team.
