Leading Mid-Atlantic Medical Institution Partners with RoundTable for ClinDoc/Stork Analyst

An East Coast community IDN tapped RoundTable to fulfill its need for an Epic Analyst specializing in the Obstetrics module to advance several long-standing optimization initiatives for their newly ‘LIVE’ Epic hospital. RoundTable placed a Senior Epic ClinDoc/Stork Analyst consultant who has exposure to dozens of diverse Epic configurations and specialized workflows, ultimately allowing her the ability to identify best-practice design for our client’s unique needs and customization requirements. With more than 6 years of specialized and focused Epic Stork experience, RoundTable’s consultant has led multiple implementations, upgrades and optimization projects for Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum and Obstetric Urgent Care.

In this role, our Senior Consultant is overseeing the completion of several Epic Stork Optimization Initiatives. These project initiatives will include but are not limited to: implementing Scheduling for OR Cases with Inductions, standardizing provider charging and order sets, updating the OB’s Fetal Monitoring Board as well as supporting every day operational maintenance as needed.

This placement comes from a long-standing relationship with this medical institution for which RoundTable continually provides Epic EHR Analyst consultants with a focus on clinical application support.

“Working with a healthcare partner on their changing Epic environment over the course of three years enables our team to identify the best consultant from a personality and expertise perspective,” said Casey Hafford, Director of Strategic Accounts, an integral member of the team helping to support this client’s EHR resource management.  “We knew that this client needed someone with Senior Systems Analyst and Project Lead experience who had also worked effectively across multiple Epic environments to ensure that we utilized our client’s time efficiently during discovery and delivery.”

East Coast Healthcare System Partners with RoundTable for EHR Support

Beginning this month, an East Coast Healthcare System has engaged RoundTable for supplemental project support of their enterprise-wide EHR initiatives for this fiscal year. Two RoundTable Analysts will, respectively, assist in the everyday maintenance of Cerner CORE (Security, Privileges, Locations, etc.) and iBus PulseCheck (Emergency Department module) handling tickets and break-fix issues of LIVE environments. These tasks will be transitioned from our client’s internal EHR Analyst team, providing them the bandwidth to expand their EHR environment to two new sites in the coming year.

This utilization of RoundTable’s Staff Augmentation Model has strategically been chosen by our client allowing their internal analysts to benefit from the new build experience. In the next year this healthcare system will be opening a new Emergency Department and Cancer Center that will ultimately inherit their existing EHR environment. With their internal EHR Analysts’ maintenance tasks offloaded to the RoundTable team, they will have the opportunity to work with end-users and operational stakeholders who are joining the health system for the EHR implementation process prior to GoLive. These design and development interactions will be invaluable to our client’s IS team as those EHR Analysts will ultimately be providing system support to those clinicians for years to come.

“We are thrilled that both RoundTable Analysts have worked with this organization previously in earlier EHR expansion efforts. This historical knowledge of internal processes, end-users and system intricacies will allow for a more seamless transition of responsibilities,” said Casey Hafford, Account Director, RoundTable Strategic Solutions.
