Consultant Shout Out – Healthy Planet Experts, Doug Jones-Graham and Clara Paik

Doug and Clara each draw from 6+ years of full-cycle implementation Epic-specific experience, focused on Ambulatory optimization and Healthy Planet stand-up and enhancement.

Currently, Doug and Clara are partnered as Epic Healthy Planet Analyst Consultants for the implementation of Healthy Planet for a client who is live on the Epic platform.  Drawing from prior technical and clinical experiences, Doug and Clara have been providing exceptional Healthy Planet guidance from day one, complimenting each other’s expertise and focus at each further step of the project. Doug and Clara’s strengths in uniting operational/clinical throughput with technical specifications, understanding interdependencies and communicating them effectively across audiences make this dynamic duo a population health monitoring powerhouse.

Mid-Atlantic IDN Extends Partnership for Ongoing Cerner Support

A Mid-Atlantic Integrated Delivery Network has partnered with RoundTable for the fifth consecutive year to assist in managing system-wide Cerner implementation and optimization efforts. At this health system, RoundTable’s Cerner SMEs have supported PowerChart Maternity implementation, Dragon Dictation deployment, SurgiNet & SurgiNet Anesthesia conversion, HealtheRegistries tool development and many other high-profile projects.

In the coming fiscal year, RoundTable Cerner Analysts will continue to support the organization’s Cerner expansion as well as a complex Data Migration effort for a newly acquired hospital. Many of RoundTable’s consultants are also supporting this IDN’s 2018 Cerner Code Upgrade, working through extensive re-build as the team target’s an October 2019 GoLive.  RoundTable’s Cerner delivery team will focus on optimization of Cerner clinical tools including Nursing Documentation (IView, PowerForms, Order-Entry), Physician Documentation (Dynamic Documentation, MPages, PowerNotes), CORE and Event Set Hierarchy. Aside from clinical solution development, RoundTable’s technical experts will support specialty Mpage development, CCL report writing, dashboard development for providers, PowerInsight training and more.

Consultant Shout Out – Epic Reporting Analyst, Alana Ducharme

It is an honor to recognize our team and we’d love to shout out our dynamic Epic Report Writer and Business Intelligence Analyst, Alana Ducharme! We have consistently received client feedback that Alana is a “Rockstar” and we suspect, her delivery is a result of 16 years of healthcare IT experience extracting and reporting data in meaningful ways for a variety of hospital departments.

At this point in her career, Alana holds up-to-date certifications and has in-depth experience with Epic BI tools including: Reporting Workbench and Radar Administration. She also has Clarity Data Model certifications in: OpTime, Anesthesia and Radiant/Cupid. Alana most recently served as Application Reporting Lead for OpTime and Anesthesia where she led the build out of all surgical workbench reports and associated dashboards. Along with her demonstrated technical expertise, Alana has now been a part of four, full-cycle Epic implementations where she has had the opportunity to lead teams, drive project deadlines and work through complex problems. Epic Project Managers that have worked closely with her attest, “Alana is amazing in how she manages and drives a project…I can’t say enough about her initiative.”

Community IDN Relies on RoundTable’s Epic Instructional Design Consulting

When a community IDN client faced an Epic Instructional Design / Principal Trainer vacancies due to internal re-organization, client leaders immediately engaged with RoundTable’s Epic Consulting team to identify interim Epic OpTime / Anesthesia and Radiant / Cupid Instructional Design / Principal Trainer Consultant to ensure critical knowledge transfer and educational continuity while an additional FTE resource is identified and on-boarded.  The Epic OpTime / Anesthesia and Radiant / Cupid Instructional Design / Principal Trainer Consultants will ensure that understanding and utilization of unique, specialty modules will go on uninterrupted, while simultaneously identifying opportunities to fine-tune instructional design material and the Master Training Environment to mirror clinical workflows and updates.
